At Staeger Clear Packaging we are constantly striving to exceed our customers’ expectations and looking for ways to streamline our processes. To enable us to meet the ever increasing challenges of today’s market we have recently installed an additional gluing machine to further increase capacity to our UK production site based in Coventry.
The Bobst machine equipped with hot melt and PUR glue systems ideally complements our existing plant whilst offering the ability to handle a larger format PET carton.
At the same time whilst working closely with Advanced Labelling Systems we have designed and installed an inline labelling system to our existing gluing machine. This system allows the placement of self-adhesive labels to the clear plastic cartons at the gluing stage; this is ideally suited to barcoding or security labels and offers added value, whilst reducing the need for additional labour at the packing stage.
This latest investment offers flexibility and opportunity and paves the way for exciting times at Staeger.
