Following the Big Plastic debate in London and hearing Lord Deben give his views on the matter; I very look forward to the Government’s review in November.
The two big problems of a) local Councils not giving a uniform plastic waste collection service across the country and b) better and clearer labelling of the various plastic products and how recyclable they are, must be addressed.
I also hope that the exporting of our plastic waste is made less profitable and real encouragement to be given to our indigenous plastic recyclers!!!
